Hildegard v. Bingen | Deep Listening
Irene Kurka
Starting from Hildegard von Bingen's antiphons, Irene Kurka introduces singing and improvising in medieval modes. This way of singing creates a great feeling of well-being in the body and trains intonation. Furthermore, she will work with the participants on parts from "Deep Listening" by the American composer Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016) in order to experience depth and awareness of space, one's own voice and the voice of others.
II
TIN Project Choir
Barbara Beckmann
Participation for all interested. The prerequisite is to get involved in our project. Basic knowledge of circlesinging will be taught, among other things, using the loop songs for "music magnetism". Singing from the moment and the instructions for non-verbal conducting will be introduced.
Everyone can contribute to the project choir in an individual way. The sensitive listening to each other is trained with inner enthusiasm and creatively performed in the Saturday evening concert, inspired by the dance of Hassan Aftabryuan and the trumpet of Markus Stockhausen and with the soloists and the DIVA Ensemble.

Vocal painting
Merel Martens
What is Vocal Painting and Vocal Leadership? Vocal Leadership is the innovative method of choral leadership developed over the last decade by Jim Daus Hjernoe in Denmark. The singers are involved in the musical process. Circle songs can be created.
Vocal Leadership was developed to help conductors, (music) teachers, singers, students and voice teachers to inspire them for working with a capella groups, large (pop) choirs, vocal groups, chamber choirs and more. Vocal Leadership can be used in any (vocal) style: classical music, pop and jazz music, improvisation and folk. The roots of the methods are rooted in the rhythmic music scene.

The free voice
Uta Minzberg
In this course we get to know our voice in a completely new way with a lot of joy in experimenting. Exercises from functional voice development help us to find our very own vocal sound. Singing becomes more effortless, the voice gets more range, flexibility and dynamic possibilities. Equipped with new technical tools, we move into the vocal improvisation world and give our voice free rein with its new sounds.
9.40-13.00
III
Body Music Deep Dive
Ramaje
In this two-part workshop we make use of the rich expressive possibilities of our body. In the first part we will focus on the fascinating world of body percussion. In the group we discover the palette of percussive sounds and learn rich grooves and polyphonic rhythms. In addition, we sing a traditional Swiss song. In the second part we go on a playful musical journey, letting the music emerge from the moment with voice and body. Making mistakes is explicitly allowed. No previous knowledge is necessary.

Impro Alchemy
Joanna Seiler
The Alchemy of Vocal Improvisation
Which human and musical skills prepare the ground for a successful improvisation? This workshop uses various practice settings to show how to create the best conditions for great music with a pinch of magic. Every voice is welcome. The course content will be spontaneous and individually tailored to the group of attendees.
II
Sound & Silence
Roberto Demo
What does it mean to "sing a solo"? To love silence.
Participants will be guided to improvise with overlapping patterns on which solos are sung differently with different tools.
Because silence is a tool of immense importance!
Listening skills exercises, patterns and melodies with pauses (silences) will be developed at specific points on the beat to use musical ideas in unconventional ways, improve timing and make the voice sound more instrumental - following the concepts of "orchestra in the mouth" and ideas from EVT vocal technique.
III
Business repartee training
Barbara Beckmann | Frank Poodle
Change your life with quick wit.
This workshop is about the fact that repartee is not only a talent, but a learnable art. From the challenges of being an artist, musician, entrepreneur, manager or emergency service worker to individual nutrition coaching: Barbara Beckmann and Frank Pudel use many practical examples to show that repartee is in demand. It helps you out of powerlessness and gives you strength in everyday life. She supports you in making your messages heard.
IV
Moving Resonance
Irina Hortin
In Irina's classes, participants learn to be mindful of their bodies and to explore them through movement research via the change of perspective and in the repetition of different sequences. Irina combines elements from contemporary dance techniques and from contact improvisation, always aiming to support the body's self-awareness and its functionality in dynamic situations. In the workshop she explores, among other things, the sound of the voice in relation to the resonance of the movements.
14.00-15.30

Movement & Impro
Katrin Sauter
Katrin shows you surprising facets of stage presence, she takes you into movement sequences that you can implement with your voice. Who leads? The voice or the body? Or both?
Decisions in every second are the decisive element in instant composing with your own voice. Have the courage to think only about the next note, the next movement and thus enter new spaces of voice development: your own stage!
II
Impro for couples
Annie Kummer | Mattias Wyss
You want to meet your best friend, your life partner, your great love, your favorite person a little differently? In our workshop you meet in musical resonance and in friendly-loving sound dialogues!
You can use duo improvisation games to open up another contact space beyond communicative moments and (physical) closeness, in which you consciously relate to each other with sounds and noises and connect - just the two of you or supported by others.
III
Rhythm Games
Kees Kool | Sander Gieling
Vocal Games and Vocal Percussion await you in the workshop of Kees and Sander. The two Dutch singers give ideas on how to use your own voice in different ways. Here you will get out of your comfort zone and will be inspired and taken along, how to invent songs with storytelling and what else you can do with your voice. Sometimes looped, sometimes unlooped.

LEV - Hebrew Psalms
Noga
Noga's new project LEV: By singing Hebrew songs together, Noga explores the transformative vibrations of millennial poetry in a dialogue between liturgical melodies and contemporary music. Beginning with the breath, anchoring in the body and movement, letting go. Practice circle singing and get carried away by the sound, the language, the group, the vibration. Acquire some basics to improve your own voice, at whatever level. Create a safe, playful space that welcomes differences.
III
The singing village - Latin Rhythm
Guillermo Rozenthuler | Jaka Škapin
Spontaneous singing can be an amazing way to come together as people and share music and feelings. Drawing on the invented language, rhythm and musicality of their Slavic and Latin American roots, Guillermo and Jaka invite you on a journey into the playground of singing together. Depending on the size of the group, they will either share creative tools for a smaller group of singers or dive into circlesing with a larger ensemble.
IV
Voicing in Contact
Hassan Aftabryuan
An invitation to experience your voice as part of your body and use it to get in touch with yourself and others. How does your voice change when you are in authentic contact with yourself? What happens in the play of your voice in contact with others?

CVT Yodeling
Marion Knoth
What do I do differently when I yodel than when I sing normally? Why can some people let the voice float freely and produce sounds that others can't manage even with effort and a lot of pressure? How does the voice work at all? What is healthy for the voice and what is not? I help participants to better exploit their vocal potential. Even those who say they can't sing.
